How to Create Demo Data

The Demo Data feature allows you to generate sample data so you can fully explore the app’s features before entering your own real data.

This is useful if you want to:

• Learn how the app works.
• Preview features.
• Avoid using your actual data during initial setup.

Steps for Creating Demo Data

Step 1: Open the Tools Screen

1. From the Dashboad or the navigation bar, select the Tools tab.
2. On the Tools screen, tap Demo Data.

Step 2: Start Creating Demo Data

You will be taken to the Demo Data screen.

1. Read the warning message:
   “Note: All existing data will be deleted.”
2. Tap the green “Create Demo Data” button.

Step 3: Confirmation

A Confirmation dialog will appear, reminding you that this action will delete all existing data.

• To continue, tap Create Demo Data (on the right).
• To cancel, tap No.

Step 4: Demo Data Is Being Created

The app will display a “Creating data…” screen to indicate that the process is in progress.

Step 5: Complete

Once finished, a message will appear at the bottom of the screen:

“Demo data has been created successfully.”

You can now switch to other tabs such as:

• Dashboard
• Savings Goals

to view and explore the newly created demo data.

Helpful Tips

• Consider backing up your data before creating demo data.
• Demo data is intended for exploration and learning purposes only.
• You can delete demo data later and restore your real data from a backup.
